Making of Panner Tikka Masala:

Panner in English Cottage Cheese

Paneer made from milk is quite common, especially paneer recipes are quite popular in the India

Ingredients for Paneer Tikka Masala:
   Paneer 250 grams (cut panner into cubes)
 Onions 3 medium         
 Tomatoes 2 medium         
 Capsicum 1/2 medium    
 Hung yogurt 1/2 cup    
 Fresh cream 1/2 cup      
 Ginger cut into julienne 1 inch piece    
Green chillies slit 2 or 4    
Red chilli powder 2 teaspoons    
Turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon    
Garammasala powder 1 1/2 teaspoons    
Coriander powder 1 tablespoon     
Lemon juice 1 1/2 tablespoons     
Oil 2-3 tablespoons     
Salt to taste     
Dried fenu greek leaves (kasuri methi) 1teaspoon     
Ginger garlic paste 2 tablespoons     
Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon     
Cashew nut paste 1/2 cup     
Fried Cashew nuts  6-8 garnishing               
Fresh coriander also for garnishing                                  


Start Preparation :

1. Cut paneer into cubes, cut onion into Slices and separate the layers, cut one tomato into half, remove the     pulp and cut into cubes.

2.  Cut capsicum, onions and tomatoes Add this items into  yogurt . Mix well. Add paneer cubes and mix gently. Keep aside to marinate.

3. Take a  bowl add yogurt, one teaspoon red chilli powder, little bit of salt, one-fourth teaspoon dried fenugreek leaves, one tablespoon ginger garlic paste, one tablespoon lime juice, and half teaspoon garam masala powder. Whisk well and keep aside.

4. Take a thick pan heat two tablespoons of oil. Add cumin seeds and 2 finely chopped onions to the pan. Cook for seven to eight minutes onions will turn into reddish brown.

5. Add one tablespoon ginger garlic paste to reddish brown onions. Saute for a minute.

6. Skewer the Pieces of onion, tomato, capsicum and paneer on the satay sticks.

7. Add two finely chopped tomatoes and cook for five minutes.

8. Take grill pan add 2 teaspoons oil in a medium flame , place the paneer skewers on it and cook for three minutes on each side at low flame before shutting stove  add 6-8 pieces of Cashew nuts fry it reddish colour for garnishing .

9. Add this ingredients onion tomato masala, add one teaspoon chilli powder, one tablespoon coriander powder, half teaspoon garam masala powder, one-fourth teaspoon turmeric powder and salt. Mix well.

10. Add ginger julienne, slit green chillies and cashew nut paste to the pan. Mix well.

11. Add half cup water and mix well after 2 minutes add fresh cream and mix well.

12.Add the skewered items into the masala from sticky.

13. Add remaining lime juice, half teaspoon garam masala powder, one-fourth teaspoon kasuri methi mix well.

14. Garnish with chopped coriander, Cashew nut and serve hot.
